Hello! I’m Phil Maurer, A cybersecurity professional, and teacher based in Newport Beach, California.  After spending almost 30 years in tech —the last 15 of which were in the game industry as an executive — I have moved back into the mainstream tech world.  I excel at quickly picking up new concepts and programs, and then being able to instruct people in their use and setup. I also have a long track record of success interfacing and translating between technology and business teams.  My personal motto is “Inveniam viam aut faciam,” or “If I cannot find a way, I will make one.”  I apply this to all aspects of my life, always striving to improve myself.
